For creator companies in media and entertainment

The IP Growth System vs. an agency?

It isn't either-or. An agency does the work you hire it for. The IP Growth System is what the business runs on: one record of what it owns, how it earns and what it has signed. It stays in place when the work or the team changes.

How the two compare.

Where your agency fits.

If an agency runs your campaigns, creative or launches, it keeps doing that work. The IP Growth System doesn't replace it.

What an engagement doesn't give you is the business underneath it: which rights you hold, which deals are live, what was licensed to whom and on what terms. If that lives in email, shared folders and someone's memory, then when a manager or business affairs lead leaves, the deal history can go with them.

The IP Growth System keeps that record in one place for the business, ready for whoever does the work next.

When the IP Growth System fits.

If deal sizes are growing, every deal is negotiated from whatever folder someone can find, and an investor's question about what the business owns would take weeks to answer.

You bring the content and the audience. Symbonic connects the engine around them. It starts up front, with creative and business development: developing the idea, business affairs, option agreements, packaging, and the early deals with co-producers, financiers and talent. Then Apex Global Agency, our partner, takes it to market: digital experience and every way you earn. AI works inside all of it.

It starts with Gear 1: a two-week growth map of what your business owns, how it earns today and where growth leaks. You keep the map, whoever you work with.

Who this is for, and who it isn't.

We work with media and entertainment businesses that have become companies.

Built for

A creator-led business that shows at least three of these four:

  • A company structure: a parent or holding company, not only a personal brand.
  • An operator: a CEO, COO, GM or head of business affairs running it, not only the creator or the manager.
  • Capital or a backer: outside investment, a fund, or a studio, agency or management firm building the business with you.
  • More than one income line: media plus brand partnerships, licensing, products, formats or live.

Not the right fit

  • Still building the audience or the personal brand? A creator coaching or growth program fits better.
  • A solo creator who needs a brand-deal CRM or a sponsorship tracker? A tool built for that fits better.
  • Looking for a project-management tool? A tool built for that fits better.
  • Want a strategy deck or hourly consulting, with no system behind it? A consultancy fits better.
  • Shopping for a single AI tool? Buy the tool. Here, AI works inside the system.
  • Outside media and entertainment? We work in media and entertainment only.

On the public record since 2012.

Symbonic has operated since 2012, and its trademark filings are public and dated: Symbonic Creator Cloud™ and IP-Lock™ in 2019, Open Talent Network™ in 2020, IP Companions™ in 2023 and the Innovation Studio Framework™ in 2024. The software was built, shipped and run in market from 2021 to 2026.

Now they come together as one system: the IP Growth System.

Symbonic LLC (California entity 201219810305) holds sixteen live United States trademark registrations across thirteen marks. It built a studio-scale development system on Symbonic Creator Cloud™ for AGBO, an artist-led independent film and television studio.

Questions

What is the difference between the IP Growth System and an agency?

An agency does the work it is hired for. The IP Growth System is the system a creator company runs on: one record of what the business owns, what is on offer and what is signed, with the ways it earns connected around it. Symbonic connects it from existing blueprints, its registered frameworks and technology built and run in market from 2021 to 2026, together with the tools the business already runs. A business can have both.

Does the IP Growth System replace our agency?

No. Your agency can keep doing the work you hired it for. The IP Growth System is what the business keeps between engagements: the record of what it owns, how it earns and what it has signed.

What happens to the record when we change agencies?

It stays in the system, not with whoever did the work. Once the system is built, the business chooses to own it outright, license it from Symbonic, or have Symbonic run it. The choice is set in the deal. Symbonic keeps its trademarks and core technology in every case.

Isn't Apex Global Agency an agency?

Yes. Apex Global Agency is Symbonic's representation team and partner. Inside the IP Growth System, Symbonic runs the front (creative and business development, and the early deals) and Apex takes the business to market: digital experience, commerce, and the licensing, brand and distribution deals.

Do we have to replace the tools we already use?

No. The tools the business already runs stay and are connected into the system.

Is Symbonic a fit for our business?

Symbonic works with creator-led media and entertainment businesses that have become companies, showing at least three of four signals: a company structure, an operator such as a CEO or COO running it, capital or a backer, and more than one income line. It is not the right fit for creators still building an audience, solo creators who need a brand-deal or sponsorship tracker, buyers who want a project-management tool, a strategy deck or a single AI tool, or any business outside media and entertainment.

How do we start?

Email info@symbonic.com. Work starts with Gear 1, a two-week growth map of what your business owns, how it earns today, where growth leaks, and what to connect and fix first. You keep the map. Every engagement is scoped and priced per business.
