Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This policy covers symbonic.com, the website of Symbonic LLC, a California limited liability company (“Symbonic”, “we”, “us”). It explains what personal information the website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

What you send us. The website has no accounts, sign-ups or payment forms. If you email us, for example from the Talk to Us page, we receive what you choose to put in that email: usually your name, email address, company and a description of your business.

What your browser sends automatically. Like every website, ours receives technical information when a page loads: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records this in server logs.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website: which pages are read, how people arrive, and roughly where they are and what device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this and processes the data on our behalf. We use it to improve the website, not to advertise to you. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Google explains how it uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

What we do not collect. The website does not run advertising trackers, and we do not use analytics data to target ads.

How we use it

  • To answer your message and continue the conversation you started.
  • To keep the website running, secure and free of abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who sees it

  • Service providers that run the website and our email, such as Vercel (hosting), Google (analytics) and our email provider, only as needed to provide their service.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as the conversation or any resulting work continues, and then only as long as we need them for legal or business records. Server logs are kept by Vercel under its own retention schedule. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account and then deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and residents of other places may have similar rights under their own laws. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

To make a request, email julie@symbonic.com from the address the request concerns. We may need to confirm it is you before acting.

Children

The website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send us anything you would not want exposed.

Our pages link to other organizations’ websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
